Hi friends,
I have been experimenting with an app called Roam Research this week. It is a new-ish note-taking app that I heard about early last year.
After learning about the app, I tried it out a few times, but the learning curve seemed too great to overcome. However, I now recognize that the problem was making the time to actually take notes and write properly. This is important because our workflow is infinitely more important than the apps we use.
Even though apps don’t do the work for us, they are important because sometimes finding the right app encourages us to do the work.
I noticed this when I first started using Notion. The ability to customize project and life management was so fun that it made me want to do more.
That’s how I feel about Roam, having used it daily for the past week. Thus, a well-designed app that is a pleasure to use is important because it makes doing the work more fun. Would you agree?
Have a great week!
